Red Arrows (Leica M8)

Red Arrows (Leica M8)
Performing at Kemble June 2009. I stood on the fringe of a large crowd of photographers sporting huge lenses on DSLR cameras. I wondered if I would be wasting my time shooting with a Leica M. Here is a full frame taken with my favorite medium telephoto lens. It is successful because of the colorful smoke trails which add to the drama and composition. It would be less successful for isolated small fast jets like the latest Typhoon.(Leica M8 75mm Summarit lens). ADA E1312
