Religious parade

Elephants and dancers parade through Kandy Sri Lanka at night. This picture was taken about four years ago, long before the M8 was available. So I was stuck with a one-speed film and a fast lens. Even so I was forced to use about 1/2 second exposure which was tricky given the swirling Sri Lankan dancers. With digital it would be easy to select a higher ISO and accept a degree of noise in the image. (Leica M6TTL 35mm Summicron lens; Ektachrome EBX film)
