Historic track

There is an air of mystery hanging over this historic track which survives on the North Wessex Downs in Wiltshire. In autumn it takes on a rare beauty and would appear to be much as the ancient Romans would have experienced when it formed part of the route to the city of Bath. Nowadays this beaten track is only discovered by walkers and horse riders escaping from over-crowded modern roads and the pace of modern life.
