Beating the Recession

The global recession has touched most people's lives, to varying degrees. At one extreme, homes and jobs have been lost throwing personal lives into turmoil. Many businesses struggle or falter leaving no enterprise untouched. How does it affect photographers?
In the United Kingdom the falling pound has caused many families to rethink their annual holidays abroad. Time then to explore one's homeland or even the local area so often overlooked. The grass always seems to be greener over the horizon.
With shrinking personal budgets, re-equipment plans may have to be delayed. So why not explore, in greater depth, the kit we already own and perhaps, forgotten?
